Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information, and the privacy choices available to you.

The short version

We collect what you tell us when you call or send a message. This website sets one cookie, which exists only to protect the contact form. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking software on this site, and we do not sell personal information.

The only information this website shares with a third party automatically is your IP address, which reaches Google because the site loads fonts from Google Fonts.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how SkyBuzzz collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information in connection with https://skybuzzz.com and our travel-assistance services.

Our services are directed to travelers in the United States. Where consent is required for a particular activity — such as certain text messages, call recording or non-essential cookies — we request that consent separately. Using this website does not by itself constitute consent to every practice described here.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

Through the contact form on this website we collect only:

Information collected through the contact form
CategoryWhy we collect itRetention
NameTo address you and identify your enquirySee section 7
Telephone numberTo respond to the enquiry you submittedSee section 7
Email addressTo respond to the enquiry you submittedSee section 7
Type of help neededTo route the enquiry to the right agentSee section 7
Airline name (optional)To understand which carrier’s rules applySee section 7
Your message (optional)To understand the request before respondingSee section 7

When you telephone us, we receive the information you choose to give the agent during that call, together with the call details your telephone provider passes on, such as the number you are calling from.

2.2 What we deliberately do not collect here

This website does not ask for, and you should not send us through the contact form or by ordinary email:

  • Your booking reference or record locator. We removed this field from the contact form. A booking reference plus a passenger name can be enough to view or change a reservation, and ordinary email is not a suitable way to send one. Please give it to the agent on the call instead.
  • Passport or other identity documents. We do not collect these. If an airline or ticket issuer needs to see identification, provide it to them directly through their own secure process.
  • Payment card numbers, security codes or bank details. This website does not process payments and has no payment form.
  • Passwords or one-time security codes for your airline account, email or bank. We will never ask for these.

2.3 Information collected automatically

Our web host records standard server log information, including the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested and the browser user-agent string. These logs exist to operate and secure the website.

This website does not run analytics software, advertising tags, remarketing pixels, session recording, heat mapping or a chat widget. No profile of your browsing is created here.

3. Cookies

This website sets one cookie.

Cookies used on this website
NamePurposeDurationType
PHPSESSID Holds the security token that protects the contact form from cross-site request forgery. Set only on the contact page. It carries no advertising or analytics identifier. Ends when you close the browser Strictly necessary

Because the only cookie is strictly necessary, there is nothing for a cookie banner to switch off, and we do not display one. Presenting a consent control that does not actually change anything would be misleading. If analytics or advertising technology is ever added to this site, a working consent control must be built and this section updated before those tags go live.

3.1 Google Fonts

Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. As a result your browser contacts Google servers and Google receives your IP address and basic request information. This is the only automatic transfer of information from this website to a third party. Google describes how it handles data from its services in its privacy policy.

4. Telephone calls and text messages

When you ask us to contact you and provide a telephone number, we may use that number to respond about the specific request you made. We do not use an enquiry as permission to send unrelated marketing.

We may contact you about the travel-assistance service you requested. Official flight status, schedule, check-in and boarding information should be confirmed directly with the operating airline — we are not an airline and are not an official source for those updates.

We do not operate a marketing text-message programme. If we send a text at all, it is a direct reply to a request you made.

5. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the assistance you asked for.
  • To explain the options that may apply to your booking.
  • To take payment for an optional paid service, where you have agreed to one.
  • To keep records of what was requested and what we told you.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot this website.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

6. Who receives information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The categories of recipient are:

  • Our email and hosting providers — they transmit and store the enquiry you send, in order to deliver it to us.
  • Google — receives your IP address because the site loads Google Fonts, as described in section 3.1.
  • Airlines and ticket issuers — only where you ask us to help with a specific request and only the information needed for it.
  • Professional advisers — such as lawyers or accountants, where necessary.
  • Legal and governmental authorities — see section 9.
  • A successor — see section 10.

Service providers act on our instructions and are limited to providing the service we engaged them for.

7. How long we keep information

These are our operating retention periods. Where a longer period is required by law — for example for tax or accounting records — the legal period applies instead.

Retention periods by record type
RecordKept for
Contact-form enquiries and email correspondenceUp to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted
Records of a paid serviceAs required for tax and accounting purposes
Web server logsShort-term, for operation and security
Privacy requests and our responsesAs long as needed to show we handled the request

We aim not to collect information we cannot securely delete or justify keeping.

8. Your privacy choices

Whether a particular U.S. state privacy law applies to us depends on thresholds that are assessed separately. Rather than claim rights that may or may not apply, we offer the following choices to anyone who asks, regardless of where you live:

  • Access — ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct information that is wrong.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your information.
  • Opt out of contact — ask us to stop contacting you.

We may need to keep some information to meet a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute, and we will tell you if that applies. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Because this site does not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no advertising opt-out to operate. If that ever changes, an opt-out mechanism must be provided and this section updated.

8.1 How to make a request

Email support@skybuzzz.com and describe what you would like us to do. We will need enough information to be confident the request is genuinely yours, and we will not ask for more than is necessary to establish that. Please do not send identity documents or payment details by email.

Our telephone agents handle travel questions and may not be able to process a privacy request on the call; email is the reliable route.

9. Legal requests

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when necessary to protect legal rights, safety and security.

10. Business transfers

If our business is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of assets, information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that transaction. The recipient remains subject to applicable privacy obligations.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking account of the nature of the information and our operations. This website is served over HTTPS, the contact form is protected against cross-site request forgery, and we have removed booking-reference collection from the form so that sensitive reservation identifiers do not travel by ordinary email.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send passwords, one-time security codes, identity documents or full card numbers to us by email.

12. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13. An adult customer may provide limited information about a minor passenger when necessary for a requested travel-assistance service and when authorized to do so.

Please do not provide information about a minor unless you are authorized to do so and it is necessary for the request. Information about minor passengers is not used for advertising.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than relying on a silent edit.
