Independent travel assistance — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any airline.

Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website and any travel-assistance service we provide. Please read them before engaging our services.

In short

SkyBuzzz is an independent third-party travel-assistance service. We are not an airline and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized to represent any airline.

No service fee for the initial consultation. If you choose paid assistance, we'll disclose our service fee before you agree. Airline charges and fare differences are separate.

You are never required to use us. Similar assistance may be available directly from the airline or the original ticket seller, potentially at no cost or at a different cost.

1. Who these Terms are between

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and SkyBuzzz ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of https://skybuzzz.com and any travel-assistance service we provide.

2. How these Terms are accepted

Different things you can do with this website carry different agreements, and they are deliberately kept separate:

  • Browsing this website means you accept these Terms as they apply to website use.
  • Sending an enquiry or calling us means you agree we may respond to you about that enquiry. It is not agreement to any charge.
  • Authorizing a paid service requires separate, affirmative agreement to the specific fee and scope quoted to you, together with the refund terms in section 6. We do not treat browsing, calling or enquiring as agreement to pay.
  • Optional marketing communications, if we ever offer them, require their own separate opt-in.

Before any charge, you receive a written quote identifying the service, the exact fee, the total amount you are authorizing and these Terms. You must affirmatively accept before payment is taken. We keep a record of what you accepted and when.

3. Who may use our services

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
  • You must be authorized to act for every passenger whose information you give us.
  • You must not ask us to access or change another person's booking without their authorization.
  • If you provide information about a minor passenger, you must be authorized to do so, and you should provide only what the requested service needs.

4. What we do

SkyBuzzz provides independent assistance with questions about existing flight bookings. Depending on what you ask for, that can include:

  • Reviewing booking information and fare conditions you provide.
  • Explaining the options that may be available.
  • Helping identify the airline or ticket issuer that controls the request.
  • Providing agreed administrative assistance.
  • Helping you communicate a request through the available channels.
  • General itinerary assistance.

5. What we are not

  • We are not an airline, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized to represent any airline.
  • We are not any airline's official website, reservations department, customer-service department or support channel.
  • We do not sell or issue airline tickets.
  • We do not operate airline reservation systems and cannot override an airline or ticket issuer's systems, rules or decisions.

Available options depend on applicable law, ticket terms, airline and ticket-issuer policies, the itinerary and availability. We cannot guarantee a discretionary outcome.

Airline names and trademarks, where referenced, belong to their respective owners. We reference them only to identify the airline relevant to your booking.

6. Fees, quotes and refunds

6.1 The initial consultation

No service fee for the initial consultation. If you choose paid assistance, we'll disclose our service fee before you agree. Airline charges and fare differences are separate. There is no obligation to purchase anything.

6.2 When a service fee applies

A SkyBuzzz service fee applies only if you ask us to assist beyond the initial consultation and you agree to the quoted amount. The fee covers our own time and administrative work. You are free to decline.

Airline and ticket-issuer charges — fare differences, change or cancellation penalties, seat charges, baggage charges and taxes — are determined by the responsible airline or issuer and are separate from our service fee. Depending on how a request is processed, such a charge may be collected by the airline, by the agency that issued the ticket, or as part of a single authorized transaction; your quote identifies each component and the total.

The exact descriptor that will appear on your card statement is confirmed to you in writing before you authorize payment.

6.3 When work begins

The point at which work is treated as having begun is confirmed to you in your written quote before you authorize payment, so that you know what you are agreeing to.

6.4 Refunds of our service fee

Service-fee refund eligibility
SituationWhat happens to our service fee
We are unable to provide the assistance you paid for because of an error on our partService fee refunded in full to the original payment method
You were charged twice for the same service, or charged an incorrect amountThe duplicate or excess amount is refunded
You did not authorize the chargeContact us and we will investigate; your card issuer rights are unaffected
Our agent has begun the requested service, consultation, or communication with the airlineService fee is non-refundable under the current Terms
The airline declines the change, refund or other requestService fee is non-refundable under the current Terms — the fee pays for the work, not the outcome

Where a refund is approved it is returned to the original payment method. These rules concern our own service fee only. The full procedure, including how to make a request, is in our refund and service-fee policy, which states the same rules as this section.

6.5 Refunds controlled by an airline or ticket issuer

A refund of the ticket itself, of an airline fee or of an optional service is not ours to issue. Responsibility can rest with the airline or with the merchant of record shown on your statement. Nothing in these Terms waives, limits or obscures any refund right you may have against an airline or ticket agent under applicable law. General information is published on the U.S. DOT refunds page (opens in a new tab).

7. Communications about your request

When you ask us to contact you and provide a telephone number or email address, we may use that information to respond about the specific enquiry or service you requested. Providing contact details is not agreement to unrelated marketing, and we do not treat it as such.

Official flight status, schedule, check-in, boarding and disruption information should be confirmed directly with the operating airline or ticket issuer. We are not an official source for those updates.

We do not operate a marketing text-message programme. If we send a text at all, it is a direct reply to a request you made.

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy. Please do not send us full card numbers, card security codes, passwords, one-time passcodes, passport scans or airline account credentials. We will never ask for them.

8. Your responsibilities

To let us help you effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information, passenger details and contact information.
  • Be authorized to act for every passenger included in your request.
  • Review the quote before authorizing payment, and the receipt afterwards.
  • Review official itineraries and confirmations sent to you by the airline or ticket issuer, and confirm flight status directly with the operating airline.
  • Keep your own account credentials secure.
  • Pay any properly disclosed airline or ticket-issuer charges.
  • Tell us promptly if you notice an error.

These responsibilities do not excuse our own errors, an unauthorized charge, a failure to provide the agreed service, a misleading representation by us, or any duty we cannot lawfully disclaim.

9. Limitation of liability

We do not control airline operations, schedules, inventory, fare rules or the decisions of airlines and ticket issuers.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, and our total liability for any claim arising from a paid service will not exceed the service fee you paid us for that service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any non-waivable right you have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where a limitation in this section is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it does not apply to you and the remainder of these Terms continues in effect.

10. Card disputes

You may contact us to seek an informal resolution of a billing concern. Doing so does not limit any right you may have to contact your card issuer, submit a billing-error notice, or exercise rights under applicable law.

Contacting your card issuer is your decision. We do not treat a dispute as evidence of wrongdoing and we do not require you to contact us first.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. This choice does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the state in which you reside, and nothing here waives a right that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. The version in force when you authorized a paid service governs that service; we do not apply changes retroactively where that is prohibited. If you would like a copy of a previous version, ask us at support@skybuzzz.com.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our refund and service-fee policy, privacy policy and disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us about our services.
